The EmeraldPlanet weekly television programs are being broadcast and distributed via Channel 10 TV in Fairfax, Virginia USA. The programs are being simulcast to 532 stations around the United States and then overseas by the Internet and C-SPAN. At this time TheEmeraldPlanet is currently available in all countries around the world. Once The Emerald Trek starts the television programs will broadcast one hour daily the identified 1,000 "best practices" on location from the 143 nations, 750 cities, and 50.000 communities by Internet TV, local television stations, main stream media outlets including Discovery Communications (Geo) and/or National Geographic Television, YouTube, Facebook, The EmeraldPlanet Meetup, Twitter, and all manner of print media.
Among the officially registered 6,532 non-profit organizations in Washington, D.C. the EmeraldPlanet is the only organization to have its own global weekly broadcast television program covering the latest sustainable environmental and economic development issues, policies, and technologies.
The EmeraldPlanet television home base has over three [3] million potential viewers including one of the world's most important capital cities, Washington, D.C. Through total distribution over a six weeks period the show has the domestic and international potential audience of an estimated 1.5 billion viewers. The shows are archived and can be accessed by cable, satellite, and major broadcast television stations over the weeks, months, and years ahead further expanding its potential outreach. Each Program is 60 minutes in duration with four [4] 13-minute segments (shows) which are related but separate so to further expand the scale, reach, and depth of reporting.
