Program Overview:

Global Sustaining Partnerships is a 501(c)(3) Organization established in 2010. Its vision is to improve access to clean and safe drinking water for children in developing countries, as well as empower women with tools to help them break the cycle of poverty and improve the overall health and fiscal independence of their families.

The major challenge is that a child dies every 20 seconds from a water-related disease. Dirty water kills more children than AIDS, malaria & measles combined. GSP works at the ground level and has created a sustainable business model that has earned community support. GSP’s novel strategy worked – we ensured that the filters would take firm hold in the schools and GSP has installed more than 900 water filters in primary and secondary schools, households, orphanages, health dispensaries and a district hospital in Tanzania, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

The Women’s Program Engagement Council (WPEC) promotes building an unprecedented female workforce and female entrepreneurship on the continent of Africa. WPEC is composed of women leaders who play a pivotal role in the global support of getting more women in managerial and executive positions and on corporate boards. The Council works with investors to help them understand the paradigm shift in development, helping them look at local and foreign direct investments through a “new lens” — the value of investing in women and women-owned businesses who have longevity in the local, national and global markets.

Innovate Gambia is a movement created to foster and elevate digital transformation and accelerate the economic development of The Gambia. Its purpose is to help rebuild and revitalize the country through increased innovation, technology leadership, entrepreneurship and workforce development. This is a place where women are each other’s keepers and a comfortable, safe, relaxed, invigorating and motivational place each member can always call “home.”

Innovate Gambia facilities have dedicated desks as flexible monthly workspaces that allows members to work in the same desk comfortably, with access to co-working common areas, conference rooms for varying sized meetings and much more. It has fully equipped meeting rooms available to all its members at any time of the day. The organization is a throwback to the start of a new family and to the beginning of a sisterhood like none other.

The Woman Boss aims to provide an ecosystem of support for women that will foster intellectual capital and allow entrepreneurs to leverage different learning platforms. It believes that creating “women bosses” should start early. The Woman Boss provide leadership series for both corporate women and young girls. It aims to ensure that women have the knowledge, skills and tools needed to be successful in their ventures and careers.

Its creation means stronger recognition as an economic development driver, creating public value and becoming agents of positive change for women, globally. It fosters economic development and is a catalyst for innovation for women and girls.

The Woman Boss is a creative space for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership, where women and girls curate, collaborate, innovate and grow. It provides women entrepreneurs with an inspiring community and an experiential process that catalyzes innovative thinking and enables them to successfully scale their businesses.
