WDC Solar, Inc. was created with the intention of providing access to solar energy to all socio-economic classes in Washington, D.C. Four years ago, the founders created a low-income solar program in conjunction with the District of Columbia Sustainable Energy Utility (“DCSEU”) which allows low-income homeowners in Washington, D.C. to have solar photovoltaic (“PV”) systems installed on the roofs of their homes at no cost to the homeowners.
